What is 36Truths?
36Truths makes free conversation games that help people get closer, whether that’s a partner, friends, family or a new team. Everything runs in your browser, works on any phone and needs no sign-up or app.
How we write and check content
The 36 questions are reproduced word for word from the appendix of the 1997 study by Aron and colleagues, and every page that describes the research cites it. All the other questions, dares and prompts on the site (160 cards and counting) are original and written by the 36Truths team. We write them to be inclusive and kind, and every dare is harmless. If you spot an error or a question that misses the mark, email hello@36truths.com.
How the site is funded
The games are free. In future the site may show a small number of clearly labelled ads to cover costs. Ads will never appear inside a question card or interrupt a game.
